From February 2009 I will be offering one day beginner lampwork bead making courses at my home studio in Middlesex. I have a two torches set up and will be offering one to one tuition and also classes for two.

Each one day beginner course will run from 10am to 3pm and will include:

• Safety in the studio
• Use of Nortel Minor Torch and Oxygen Concentrator
• Making round beads
• Making and using stringer for decoration
• Using Frit for decoration
• Gravity beads
• Basic shaping techniques for tubes/bicones

One to one tuition is £100.00 per day and will include use of torch, gas, glass, use of SC2 Paragon Kiln and all other materials used on the day.

Classes for two are £170.00 per day (£85.00 per person). You will each have use of your own workstation and torch. The price also includes gas, glass and all other materials

For those of you bitten by the glassy bug that are unable to set up at home, it is also possible to hire my studio for unsupervised torch time by the hour.

Each hour costs £10.00 and includes the use of one work station with a Nortel Minor torch, oxygen concentrator and SC2 Paragon Kiln and tools.

Studio rental does not include Glass - Although glass is available to purchase
