From February 2009 I have been giving one day beginner lampwork bead making courses at my home studio in Middlesex. I have a two Nortel Monor torches set up and offer one to one tuition and also classes for two.

Beginner Classes
Each one day beginner course will run from 10am to 3pm and will include:
One to one tuition is £100.00 per day and will include use of torch, gas, glass, use of Kinlcare Maxine kiln (the pink one!) and all other materials used on the day.
Classes for two are £170.00 per day (£85.00 per person). You will each have use of your own workstation and torch. The price also includes gas, glass and all other materials
For those of you bitten by the glassy bug that are unable to set up at home, it is also possible to hire my studio for unsupervised torch time by the hour. Please bear in mind that your time in the studio will be charged from the time booked, not from your time of arrival.
The price strats at £10.00 ph hour with reduced rates for block bookings and will include the use of one work station with a Nortel Minor torch, oxygen concentrator, safety glasses, mandrels, kiln and tools.
Studio rental does not include glass, frit or other raw materials, please provide your own. Any tools broken or damaged during studio hire must be replaced at your own cost.
Previous experience required.
There will be a one off charge of £25.00 for an introductory session covering health and safety and best practice in use of studio equipment which will last for approximately one hour.
